On 30^th, Novermber, 2023, , the college held the "Belt and Road Initiative and China–Pakistan Cultural Exchange International Conference" in the Convergence Media Center on the second floor of Chongde Building. Participants included Dr. Awan, Director of the China Studies Center at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan; foreign experts and faculty from the Foreign Languages Department of Inner Mongolia Hongde University of Arts and Sciences; Pakistani student representatives; and student representatives. The conference was chaired by Tang Jun, Director of the Pakistan Research Center.

During the conference, participants delivered speeches on various topics, including the achievements of China–Pakistan exchanges and cooperation in higher education, the direction of Hongde’s internationalization under the "Belt and Road" framework, and the management and cultivation of international students.

Dr. Awan provided a detailed analysis of the accomplishments made over the decade since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative, and looked ahead to the future development prospects of Inner Mongolia Hongde University of Arts and Sciences and the China Studies Center at COMSATS University Islamabad. This vision aims to make new contributions to China–Pakistan cultural exchange.
